At this point, you've programmed your first 3D user interface using GoblinXNA on the desktop and obtained a Nokia Lumia 800 or 920 Windows Phone device from us. Now it's time for you to do a simple port of your desktop program to the phone.
This assignment is designed to make sure that you set your computer up with the necessary tools to develop and deploy programs to a Windows Phone. In the process, you will familiarize yourself with the development workflow for Windows Phone for future assignments.
You are not required to make any changes to your UI from Assignment 1. Having said that, if you find the UI that you designed for mouse/keyboard input to be difficult to interact with using touch input, please feel free to play around with different parameters of your UI (e.g., the size or number of buttons, placement of controls, etc.) to make your UI more usable on the phone.
You do not need to submit anything through CourseWorks for this assignment.
Just show your program running on the phone to one of the TAs, either right after class or during office hours, anytime up through Tuesday, March 12, and make sure they check you off as having completed Assignment 1½. You may not use any later days for this assignment.
Please follow the instructions on the TA page to set up your development environment (especially the Windows Phone Installation Guide).
If you run into a problem during the setup process, please check the Discussion Board on CourseWorks to see if anyone ran into a similar issue before you; it may already have been answered.
